According to newspaper ‘AS’, Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus this summer, as the Portuguese international doesn’t feature in Allegri’s plans for the coming season. Paris Saint-Germain could prepare an offensive for his signing.
The name Cristiano Ronaldo is once again set to be the talk of the town during this summer’s transfer market. The Portuguese international was initially expecting a quieter window, but now more and more speculations are arising regarding his potential exit from Turin.
Despite rumours regarding a possible move to Real Madrid, Manchester United or even Sporting, Paris Saint-Germain have recently emerged as one of the most likely destinations for the Juve star, as he looks to leave Italy this summer.
This is because new manager Massimiliano Allegri does not have Ronaldo in his plans for next season, according to newspaper ‘AS’, marking the final step to conclude his spell at the club.
It is here where PSG enter the frame. Looking at the more-than-likely exit of Kylian Mbappe and Messi’s contract renewal at Barcelona, owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to make a strike in the market as his options become increasingly limited.
Regarding speculations of Ronaldo moving to the French capital which have been around for months, the difference now is that Juventus are willing to negotiate. Give the age of the player and what remains on his contract, the demands of the club wouldn’t even be that high.
The club from Turin would be happy to let the Portuguese go for a sum of around 25 million euros, although they would also be happy with an exchange deal for Mauro Icardi. With Ronaldo and Neymar up front, PSG would be more than equipped to achieve their dream of winning the Champions League.
