The actress, 55, looked stunning as she donned a low-cut black dress which consisted of a blazer-style top and skirt complete with a thigh-high slit to attend the British Ballet Charity Gala.
Her glamorous attire hugged her sensational figure and she finished off the elegant look with two dazzling diamond brooches and a necklace to match.
She took to Instagram to share her delight at her outing in a video post.
The shot of her strutting down the staircase in heels saw the star say: “”First night out in 14 months and I am going to the ballet.”
And her followers were quick to share their admiration of her.
Makeup artist Sandy Linter wrote: “Oh how nice,” before following it up with “this dress is cut perfectly for you.”
Another follower commented: ” Well obviously you have not forgot how to do it. Looking absolutely magnificent.”
And a third put: “Enjoy ! You are the only ageless true beauty left.”
When she got to the event, the Bedazzled star posed for pics with other event goers at the star-studded occasion.
She was snapped alongside friend and fellow star David Williams, 49, who scrubbed up well in a black tuxedo with a bow tie.
Also in attendance were stars including Lulu, AJ Pritchard and his girlfriend Abbie Quinnen, who looked phenomenal at her first red carpet event since her horror fire accident.
For the very first time the event saw dancers from all eight of Britain’s main ballet companies, including Ballet Black, Birmingham Royal Ballet and English National Ballet, on the same stage to perform.
They were accompanied by Royal Ballet Sinfonia.
The Gala is being held to try to raise both awareness and funds for the ballet industry.
Elizabeth’s appearance follows recent remarks made that she is still “extremely good friends” with ex-partner Hugh Grant.
The actress said that her and the 60-year-old actor “went through so much together” as a couple.
The former duo have remained good friends following their split in 2000. They had spent 13 years together as a couple.
